I design regulated fintech and enterprise finance products (banking, tax, compliance, and AI-assisted workflows), working out what’s right to build before deciding how it looks.

5 case studies01
Oracle NetSuite // ANZ & Japan
Made silent bank-connection failures visible and brought automated bank feeds to two markets with different regulations, addressing an estimated 20–40 hours of monthly manual reconciliation per customer.

Oracle NetSuite // Japan
Replaced spreadsheet tracking with a native NetSuite lifecycle for Tegata and Densai, where each instrument’s status decides which actions are available, including partial Densai use.

Daimler South East Asia
Turned complex dealer operations into one connected workflow from lead to handover, with pricing clear enough to explain live and build-ready detail for engineering.

KPMG Services
Made AI answers checkable for auditors, with source citations, confidence levels, and a clear route to verify or escalate when the AI is unsure.

KPMG Services
Found that decisions to leave formed in specific moments, then designed onboarding and performance-coaching interventions for three of them.

Design, to me, is less about how things look and more about working out what’s right to build. It starts with understanding the problem deeply, then connecting the dots between what people need, what the business is trying to achieve, and what the technology and regulations allow.
Most of my work is in regulated enterprise products (tax, banking, compliance, and e-invoicing), where precision is the product. I spend time with users in their day-to-day work, and bring product, engineering, legal, and privacy together early, so the solution holds up for the people using it, the business, and the systems behind it. The goal is products that feel simple because the complexity has been handled well.

How I approach AI
Good AI design is more about trust than technology. Even in Japan, a market that embraces advanced tech, finance teams wanted AI that suggests while people approve.
Show what the AI did, and let people change or override it.
Use AI where it genuinely helps customers, not everywhere it could.
Work with product and engineering on what’s feasible, and let the business set the timing.
